Bridging the Gap

From physical therapy
to real strength.

Coming out of PT can feel like stepping into the unknown. Our signature program takes the guesswork out of what comes next — connecting rehabilitation with results-driven training.

What the Program Is

The missing link in your recovery.

Bridging the Gap is for people recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic pain who have completed physical therapy but still need expert support to regain strength, mobility, and function.

Whether you're looking to return to daily activities, sports, or an active lifestyle, our coaches work closely with your therapist (when applicable) to ensure a safe and effective plan — one that picks up exactly where your PT left off.

This is our flagship program. It's what Performance EDU was founded on in 2010, and it's the reason physical therapists across the region refer their patients to us.

What to Expect

Every client receives:

Assessment

Initial Movement Evaluation

An in-depth assessment by our experienced coaches to understand where you are and what the safest path forward looks like.

Care Team

Collaborative Care

We coordinate with your physical therapist or medical provider when needed — so nothing falls through the cracks between clinic and gym.

Programming

Individualized Program Design

Tailored to your abilities, history, and goals — not a generic post-rehab template handed to every client.

Progression

Progressive Training Plan

Systematically builds strength, balance, and movement confidence over time — with coached adjustments as your body adapts.

Format

1-on-1 or Semi-Private Sessions

Choose the format that matches your comfort level and needs. Both give you direct coaching attention throughout every session.

Who It's For

This program is built for you if:

Post-surgical

Knee, shoulder, spine, hip, or any major procedure — you've cleared PT and need what comes next.

Chronic pain or mobility limits

Living with ongoing limitations that need structured, expert-led training rather than generic workouts.

Former PT patients

You finished physical therapy but aren't ready for a general fitness class — this is your next step.

Athletes in return-to-sport

Rehabbing an injury and preparing to get back on the field, court, or slope safely and confidently.

Accountability seekers

You need structure and a coach who will push you — but also know when to pull back.

After three back surgeries, I wasn't sure I'd hike again. With the help of the team at Performance EDU, I transitioned from physical therapy into strength training — and now I'm stronger than I was before my injuries.

Why It Works

Fifteen years of doing this, and only this.

Performance EDU has helped countless clients rebuild after rehab. We understand how to carefully scale training intensity, coach proper form, and monitor progress. That combination creates a safe environment that emphasizes long-term health and performance — not short-term numbers.

This isn't a service we added. It's what we built the facility around.

Your rehab got you here.
We'll take it from here.

Book your movement assessment. We'll meet you where your PT left off — and build the strength to take you past it.
